Bedingfield was born in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, UK. Natasha has three siblings: brothers Daniel, Joshua and a younger sister Nikola. When Bedingfield was a teenager, she and her siblings, Daniel and Nikola, formed the dance/electronic group, The DNA Algorithm.
